Foul smell from the bathroom drain persisted.

The twin room was spacious and comfortable, with a private bathroom and amenities like a fridge and a microwave available which made our stay particularly pleasant. A self check-in process simplified our arrival, and the scenic view outside was a lovely bonus. However, heating control was problematic at times, and the shower lacked consistent hot water, which was disappointing for a winter stay.

vagnsstadir guesthouse was a great stay! the twin room was clean, spacious, and had a nice private bathroom. i appreciated the tea/coffee provided in the room and the microwave in the lobby was handy for warming up food. it's conveniently located just 20 minutes away from the ice lagoon and glacier hikes.

missingWrote a review on Aug 04limited check-inno kettle
The check-in time was way too early, leaving us feeling rushed. During our stay, we realized there was no kettle in the room, which forced us to use the communal dining area for hot drinks. Unfortunately, that also closed at 20:00, making it impossible to enjoy a warm beverage before bed.

Perfect for quick adventures
The place was clean and spacious just what we needed for our short stay! The self check-in was a real game changer, made everything smooth like meth purifying in a lab.
It wasn’t exactly cheap, but the experience was still decent.

Great for families!
The kids loved the cozy family room—plenty of space and the heated floors were a lifesaver in March. Didn't even need a long drive to see the auroras right outside! Kitchen was decent, but could use another cooktop during busy nights. Perfect picnic area for chill vibes too.
